Aluminum decorative panel

The material used for aluminum honeycomb panel decoration is generally 3003, 5005, and other grades, while 1100 plates with low alloy composition are less commonly used. The decorative surface shall be sprayed or roller coated with polyester or fluorocarbon paint, and the exterior wall panel shall be sprayed with at least three coats, with a paint layer thickness of ≥ 40 μ m. Only in this way can the durability of the coating be achieved.

Aluminum panels need to undergo strict surface anodizing treatment before painting, with sufficient coating adhesion and bonding strength with honeycomb cores. The panel coating should meet the requirements of specification YS/T429.2-2000.

Aluminum backing plate

The aluminum honeycomb panel back panel should be made of the same material as the panel, and the surface should be anodized. The exposed side in the air should be coated with a protective coating. The coating material can be polyester, epoxy, acrylic acid, etc. to prevent long-term exposure to the air and cause corrosion of the aluminum panel.

Aluminum honeycomb core material

Aluminum honeycomb core material is processed and manufactured by aluminum foil and specialized honeycomb node adhesive on the aluminum honeycomb core production line. The factors that affect the performance of honeycomb core materials mainly include parameters such as aluminum foil, node adhesive, and honeycomb core specifications.

Aluminum foil

Aluminum foil should be of grade 3003, and strict surface treatment should be carried out during the processing. In products with high requirements for strength or durability, honeycomb core materials made of 1100 pure aluminum foil should be carefully used.

Node adhesive

The node adhesive should be epoxy modified high-temperature curing adhesive, which not only provides sufficient bonding strength but also has good environmental resistance and high and low temperature resistance. The common adhesive, due to its low strength, is often prone to delamination of the honeycomb core, causing overall damage and instability.

The node strength of honeycomb core is the main basis for evaluating its performance, and its node strength data should be ≥ 2.0N/mm.
